Register Your Account

Getting started with MyChalls is quick and easy. Here's what you need to do:

  • Click "Register" in the top right of this page
  • Enter your first name – This helps us personalize your experience. "Hi Fred" is much friendlier than "Dear Sir/Madam"
  • Enter your email address – Must be a real email you can access. We'll send you a verification email to prevent spam accounts
  • Create a password – We recommend a strong password with uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Your password is encrypted, so even we don't know what it is
  • Verify your email – Open the email we send and click the verification link. Paid plan users will then enter their card details securely via Stripe (we only store the last 4 digits)

Add a Goal (Optional)

🎯 What is a Goal?

A goal is a big plan that you break down into manageable chunks. For example, if you want to run a marathon but currently running for the bus is a challenge, you create a goal to "run a marathon" and break it into smaller challenges: Run 5k → Run 10k → Run 15k, etc.

Goals help you stay motivated by reminding you why you want to achieve something. This is crucial when your initial enthusiasm fades but the "almost there" adrenaline hasn't kicked in yet.

How to Add a Goal:

  • Click "My Goals" in the navigation bar
  • Click "Add Goal" and follow the wizard

Add a Challenge

A challenge can either be part of a goal or something you'll master within 30 days. Challenges are the daily actions that move you toward your goals.

How to Add a Challenge:

  • Click "My Challenges" in the navigation bar
  • Click "Add Challenge" and go through the wizard

Special Features You Should Know:

📅 Cheat Day

Need one day off per week? No problem. Select which day and we won't nag you that day.

✅ "Close Enough" Mode

Remember school tests? 99% wasn't a fail! Set a "close enough" threshold. If your target is 20 pages, 18 might be close enough.

💰 Freedom Fee

Want a day off? That's fine, but it'll cost you a self-imposed fee. You decide the amount – extra motivation to stay consistent!

Daily Check-in

Each day during your challenge, staying accountable is simple:

  • Sign in to the site – You'll automatically land on the "Today" page
  • Enter your number – Record your progress for today (pages read, minutes exercised, calls made, etc.)
  • Click "Save" – That's it!

📊 Automatic Tracking

The site automatically compares your number against your target and updates your stats. You'll see how well you're doing with your challenge in real-time. You'll also receive a daily email commenting on your progress!

Pro tip: We'll send you a daily reminder email with a direct link to make logging even easier.
